This was a banner I designed for a newsalert on the Intranet. The story described the introduction of TPT Ambassadors. These ambassadors were nominated people in the business responsible for being contact points for information on the Technology Portfolio Transformation (TPT).

The banner used an image of a person holding a blank business card which I superimposed the TPT logo and the text “TPT AMBASSADOR”. The text and logo perspective was altered to make it appear more natural.

Here is a bit of unusual design work. It was a request for design something to help brand some of our HR services and make them more user friendly. Since the HR helpdesk deals with a lot of emails, it was thought a nice graphical auto reply to reassure people that their email has been received would be nice. So, what you see below is what got designed and implemented.

Every time the HR helpdesk receive an email, the sender receives this graphical image. If it can’t be displayed, than an alternative bit of text is displayed bearing in mind accessibility.

Here is the full graphic:

As part of rebranding, a new template for Internal Communications was needed. The company rebranded from Cap Gemini Ernst & Young to Capgemini on 15 April 2004. This template is uesd by the Internal Communications team to send out messages to all employees at Capgemini, as well as to all the various offices. The colour scheme was taken from the new Capgemini logo, and the two predominent colours were used to create a fade effect in the banner.

The newsroom template retains the familiar features of a bar for “From:” and “To:”. A cyan bar was added below this to help highlight the title.

Here is the template in full:
